Who we are
Raleigh Hoarder Cleanup (raleighhoardercleanup.com) is a free referral service. We collect quote requests for hoarding cleanup in Raleigh and Wake County, North Carolina, and pass them to independent local cleanup professionals. We are not a cleanup company, a government agency, or a medical provider.
What we collect
Only what you choose to enter in the quote form:
- Your relationship to the property, property type and approximate size, severity level (1–5), whether biohazards or pets may be present, whether the person living there is on board, timeline, and the property's ZIP code
- Your first name, email and/or phone number, and preferred contact method
- Any notes you write
- Any photos you upload (optional, up to 5)
- That you checked the consent box, and the date and time you submitted
We don't ask for your full street address, date of birth, financial details, or health records. Please don't include sensitive personal information you don't want shared with a cleanup professional.
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) in server logs for security and troubleshooting. This site does not currently use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this page first.
How we use it
- To review your request and contact you about it using the method you chose
- To match you with local cleanup professionals and share your request with them
- To prevent spam and misuse of the form
Who we share it with
In short: requests are emailed to us and stored with our hosting provider (Netlify), and are shared only with the partner cleanup companies.
We share your request, including any photos, with no more than 3 independent cleanup companies that serve your ZIP code, only so they can contact you and quote the job. Once they receive it, those businesses handle your information under their own policies. We also use service providers (such as website hosting and storage with Netlify, and email delivery of new requests to us) to run the site; they store data on our behalf.
We do not sell your information, publish it, or post your photos. Submitting a request is not a report to any government agency. We may disclose information if required by law.
How we protect it
Requests and photos are stored in private storage with our hosting provider (Netlify) and are not publicly accessible. When photos are shared with a professional, we use time-limited links where possible. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access to what is needed to handle your request.
How long we keep it
We keep requests only as long as needed to handle them and keep basic records, and then delete them. You can ask us to delete your request at any time.
Your choices
- Ask to see, correct, or delete the information you submitted
- Ask us to stop contacting you
- Choose not to upload photos or not to submit the form at all
To make a request, contact us at the address listed below. If we have already shared your request with a professional, we will tell you who, so you can contact them directly too.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
